Well warrantless wiretapping, Patriot Act, NDAA, indefinite detention at Gitmo has only been a concern of Libertarians, same with endless wars and the national deficit. Dems could separate themselves more by having a greater interest in these issues.

I see this as the new republican right wing trick. Running as a democrat. So many just vote their party without knowing the candidate.

This is why I was just saying that I want to start a Progressive Party... one whose platform includes "no corporate money in politics." Because let's face it...corporate dollars are non-partisan.
