The United States is not #1 in much. Not education, not healthcare, not economic equality, none of that. We're #1 in mass shootings and mass incarceration. It's not even close. That's where we lead. This is what we're the best at.

I see at least one thing changing about mass shootings in America. People are angry. Very, very angry. The devastation is still there, of course, but our nation is growing increasingly furious about the lack of genuine concern from politicians.

Sure, a lot of people from the worst parts of the world want into the US, because it's better than where they're coming from. That doesn't make it good. I'm Canadian. Not too many of us are fleeing to your country.

You know I agree, Jen! My husband & I have talked about how different our views of other countries are after traveling all over. It really does make us look differently are the US. Such a young country, not willing to learn what others have gone through/learned centuries ago!
