Many of my most progressive friends still have not quite accepted Cory Booker - claiming to be irked by a few votes. They then don’t apply that same standard to other people they love, almost without scrutiny. I’m a fan. Spoke with the man. One of the most genuine souls.

We’ve been down this road before of Dems telling me what I want to hear and doing nothing of substance. If he puts his policy/votes/campaign funding where his mouth is Ill reconsider. Until then, he stands on what he’s done, and it’s not all that progressive.

Being from NJ I don’t agree with those pharmaceutical votes he cast but also realize how big of an industry it is in our state and his responsibility to keep those jobs here.

Keep those few jobs and sell out the rest of us? Great leadership.....

If somebody can convince you with their words instead of their policies, you are gonna get conned.

I honestly can't believe how you fall for his "nuance." It's so easily refutable.

Read: ‘The Prize' Unfortunately, it's terribly unflattering to Booker.http://www.nytimes.com/2015/08/23/books/review/the-prize-by-dale-russakoff.amp.html …
