I genuinely believe the unfolding scandal of the entire White House protecting, covering, and promoting a violent, serial abuser of women, then lying about it, while he dates another staffer, is one of the worst things I’ve ever seen in national politics.
A law MUST be passed immediately that requires White House staff members to have verified security clearance. It is unacceptable that Trump is abusing the temporary clearance and renews them indefinitely for staffers who cannot get approved otherwise.
Furthermore, I do not believe for a single second that Trump, his attorneys, Chief of Staff John Kelly, and the dozen other White House staff members could testify under oath or before Mueller about their disgusting handling of Rob Porter. They’ve lied repeatedly already.
With this crazy administration we're learning how naive we've been to not codify everything we always thought was normal & traditional. @realDonaldTrump people have ZERO respect for the US - this was previously unimaginable.

The role of Congress includes oversight of the Executive Branch. If Congress -- especially the majority party -- abdicates that responsibility (like the current situation with the sanctions law passed last year), what recourse is there?
Exactly because that would never happen with us as civilian government employees. He'll they give us grief if we have one to many doctors bills on our credit report. They wanna know why it's not paid, when are you going to pay it and you better show proof it's paid. SMDH!

It’s a basic tenet for anyone in a position there. For most companies, and definitely public ones, a serious background check is required for their sr. execs.
I had to do a full scope polygraph and open up my whole life to have that clearance. It’s galling that these people who have proven so very untrustworthy don’t have to follow any of the rules the rest of us. This kind of blatant security violating puts the stupid emails to shame.
I remember when @realDonaldTrump, @FoxNews and the @HouseOversight went insane with the potential that HRC may have mishandled classified info. This administration is reckless with info and their silence speaks volumes. #CountryOverParty
