Man on the right also did that with Chip Kelly as his HC and Jeremy Kerley as his #1 WR.
-

-
Man on the left had a 1-9 team with 2 weeks to prepare. M. Godwin as the #1 wr and 2 rooks to throw to. Also a rookie head coach. Js!
-
Man on the right had 3 ocs and 3 head coaches in 3 years. None of the 3 HCs are currently HCs in the NFL.

Kap excelled form Harbaugh/ Greg Roman, run 1st read option and the talent that Kap was surrounded with was ridiculous. Once the league figured to take his scrambling abilities away and forced him to pass it was over.
-
"Once the league figured him out". You just made the damn argument sir! JG got paid based off of having very little film on him. He will be figured out too. Deal makes no sense.
-
You might be right.. but the complex playbook that Jimmy G was able to figure out in a couple of weeks and shred NFL top rank Defenses is no fluke sir. What does your own pair of eyes tell you. Did Kap ever have command like jimmy G?? I don’t think so.
-
Apparently it was.

It’s a shame but I’m selfishly happy he’s not playing and protecting his beautiful mind after all the facts of football dangers. I understand he loves the sport, is an insane talent & should be able to do what he loves but I think God has called him to greater calling.
#ThankUKap -
Agreed. I think many want him in the NFL bc of the principal of the matter but realistically it’s a dangerous sport who’s popularity will/is dwindling as the yrs progress & he’s simply meant to be more than just an nfl player. He’s meant to be taught in history classes.
-
Amen to that! We are missing a lot in our history books...

Definitely John Urschel retired to pursue his PhD at MIT and live on $25k/yr stipend. When you've got something that critical between your ears, not enough money in the world can replace it.https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/early-lead/wp/2017/07/27/at-age-26-ravens-john-urschel-retires-from-nfl-to-pursue-phd-in-math-at-mit/?utm_term=.7590bdad7354 …

Kap was 1-6 in his last 7 games. Garoppolo 7-0. It's possible to want Kap in the NFL and be happy when another good player gets paid.
-
So i guess 2 NFC Conf games and a Super should count as well, Huh
-
So 1-2? Not sure that helps Kap.
-
Keap had a Superbowl caliber roster. When that roster wasn't around he faltered. Jimmy came in to a winless team and automatically raised everyone's gameplay with only a month and a half time if learning the playbook
-
He never faltered his stats always remained solid. He had messes of teams and win/loss reflected that. Whose to say how he’d do with Shannahan? History as told us he will always put up good numbers no matter the team
-
Are you a 49er fan or are you stat watching? It was clear there was frustration, he was missing throws and scrambling too often/ too soon.
-
Thank you!!! Love Kaep but he just never improved and became to inconsistent after 2013. One read QB and was a straight line runner. Big arm but bad accuracy and only had one speed which hurt his accuracy
