I'd say Trump and the Bible go hand-in-hand, at points: Deuteronomy 22:28-29: If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered, he shall pay her father fifty shekels of silver.

You proved my point the Constitution never said the separation of church and state. It came from a letter by Jefferson written to a Baptist Pastor. To explain to him that there would no state religion as there were in many counties especially England.

The point is we have freedom of religion not freedom from religion. Our founding fathers used the Bible as a moral guide in leading our nation. The didn’t force it on people but it did impact their decisions.

The money thing was thanks to Religious Activists in the 1860s and wasn't adopted as the motto by Congress until 1956. Before that, the common motto of the United States was E Pluribus Unum. Of course, Donald is pandering as usual.
