Weirdly, it's the ppl shouting about upholding 'the will of the ppl' that are terrified of the ppl actually being asked the same question again.
-
Weirdly, you're not getting "the will of the people" on Brexit if you keep making them vote until they deliver you the answer you like. That's how EU treaty ratification worked and it helped cause Brexit
-
Ah, I see. Have an election, decide if you think the result is "informed," if no, make them keep voting until they produce the "informed" result. Sounds smart
-
Nah, but it's a good and deliberate misreading. A single vote without being totally lied to would do it. That's why so many people feel the same way about it now.
-
Right - if they voted for Brexit, it means they've been lied to. Once they vote Remain, it will be proof they now have the truth. Perfect system
-
I do hope you enjoy the rest of your day, Nick.

I'm an American on a spouse visa in the UK, fully intend to obtain citizenship when it's available for me. Both me and my British husband want Brexit overturned! Tons of downsides, virtually no benefits.

Anyone with a right to a passport from another country should protect themselves and apply ASAP

I was lucky enough to do that. My Mum was British, but my Gran Irish. So I got my Irish Citizenship since Ireland is not Brexiting. Every day with Trump increases my desire to use it, permanently, until he’s gone.

You would be so very welcome.

Thank you. When my youngest heads off to university in the Fall and I’ve got an empty nest, it becomes a real possibility.

This is difficult as I voted against coming out of Europe but it’s a no from me. Whether people regret their decision now or how ill informed they felt, a decision was made and we have to stick with it and deal with the consequences.
-
With all due respect, like the Suffrgettes stuck with the decision of the time? If you believe it’s wrong, it deserves fighting for. It’s not just a blip on the radar but impacts generations.
-
I agree. The referendum was a political stunt, not sincere policy. The people didn't speak, they were lied to. Haven't jumped off the cliff yet, so how about fight to turn around. Don't think it's at the event horizon yet.

We are desperate for it. Our families are in danger when rights go (we aren't all straight and white) and one of our family already lost their career thanks to losing the EMA.
-
When I heard about them moving the EMA my heart just sunk further. This move is bad for everyone, and definitely bad for the science community!
-
It's so tough. Regulatory is going forever. Unless you want to move country that's pretty much it, just the last few drug license transfers to the single market. Then retraining as something else.
