DACA should be a stand alone bill in my opinion,attaching it to the budget just plays into right wingers http://hand.It will never pass in the house this leading to a stalemate and blame game which the President will gladly exploit.
Let me understand something. Senate Democrats have agreed to a budget without even including DACA protections?

Where’s the support for Nancy Pelosi right now? Everyone is quick to criticize, but she has been talking for 5 HOURS & counting as she’s filibustering to support DACA. It’s easy to hate on the D’s, who are in the minority, but Pelosi is doing what you want her to do RIGHT NOW.

What does DACA have to do with funding the government? I whole-heartedly agree that DACA protections are important, but as a federal employee I'm tired of govt. funding being the bargaining chip for every single disagreement between the two parties.

Shaun, I understand your frustration, but contrary to popular belief, they have almost ZERO leverage. Shutting down the government isn't going to help the Dreamer's case (American will hold it against them for the shutdown) & Ryan will never bring the Dreamer bill to house floor.
