"Personally, it has taken me 47 years to stop calling people who are mean to you ‘in love’ with you. It took a long time because as little girls we are conditioned to believe cruelty & love somehow have a connection & that is like the sort of era we need to evolve out of.”"
I've always wondered why we tell young girls that verbal and physical abuse equates to love or "having a crush". It's such a disturbing cultural phenomenon.
Sounds like attempted murder, putting #Uma in that car. The spotlight should be on #Tarantino at this point almost as much as on #Weinstein. Almost sounds like QT wanted her injured/killed at the end of shooting as a publicity stunt. Or revenge on her on Harvey's behalf.
That was my reaction. When Eliza Dushku came forward she had a similar story: her abuser mishandling her safety rigging, resulting in serious injury. These bastards.
Omg Uma has been through it all. I am so glad that she’s strong enough to stand against the assholes of Hollywood. Who would have known about the car accident, they tried to hurt her badly
it’s a shame. Blessings to Uma STAY STRONG.
This article is every father's fear for their daughter. My heart goes out to Ms. Thurman.
tarantino is dead to me.

yep this affects him
Did you read it?
Wow. Scary, sick men.
I CANNOT wrap my mind around this. Uma, and ALL the other actresses that were forced to endure these assaults are AMAZINGLY strong. If men were subjected to the same thing, I'm not sure what our world would look like.... Just WOW
And watch the video.
Do you think we'll ever get to the point where at the end of the movie instead of the release stating no animals were harmed in the production of this film... it will state no WOMEN were harmed in the production of this film?
This (Uma’s story) and his history of saying the N-word (http://gawker.com/the-complete-history-of-quentin-tarantino-saying-nigge-1748731193 …) is why I dfw Tarantino. He’s a pretentious and harmful old white man who abuses his power to make White Man Fantasy movies.
