Ladies & Gentlemen,
This is the film the @NFL does not want you to see before the Super Bowl.
But you must.
A violent ballet.

https://www.kevinmd.com/blog/2015/12/we-should-radically-change-the-way-we-play-football.html … I'm a physician, and this is a piece I wrote a year or so ago. We have to change the way we play this game, or we are going to lose it.

You're pretty naive if you think football is only avtivity causing this thing we call cte. Olympics are right around the corner and pretty much all events would cause cte as well
-
Pretty much all events is an extreme over-exaggeration. I don't watch all the Olympic sports, so maybe a few would, but definitely not all.

This is the biggest reason, among many, that my husband and I stopped watching. Don’t miss it for a second. The NFL is criminal in its negligence regarding the physical well-being of its players. They know and have known for a long time what’s at stake.

Thanks, Shaun. The film is hauntingly moving and your message is important. I, too boycotted football this year and even though I live in Minneapolis, have not caught super bowl fever.
-
You never caught Super Bowl fever cuz you were cured in Philadelphiapic.twitter.com/ouy97u8tnZ

Nope. Life-long Packers fan.

So you have Aaron Rodgers in his prime but you’re boycotting the NFLpic.twitter.com/u64xTY6fIw

No one is forcing them to play though. All these players could unite and do something about it but don’t. You know why because they get paid millions. They need to start the changes since it’s their livelihood

The technology is available. The rules are in place. I fear too many bonuses are still be rewarded for hard hits.
