In case the NFL forces Twitter to delete this film, please save this link and watch it here. This is the film the NFL does not want you to see before the Super Bowl.https://theintercept.com/2018/02/01/nfl-concussion-super-bowl-protocol-football/ …

A mother posted this today after seeing our piece. I received over 100 emails just like this from parents telling me their young sons IN HIGH SCHOOL already have these problems.pic.twitter.com/hXSZdjtj5I

I am watching. My son played football from pee wee to college. I am now happy he is no longer playing.
-
Bet a 100 dollars he’s not. He rather be in the NFL making millions
-
Since he has always been very smart this mother is happy he is not playing. He still goes to the gym and works out. But he has seen the movie. He had to do the concussion protocol before college football. All money is not good money.
-
Just cos all money ain’t good money doesn’t mean he doesn’t want to make it. He still wants to play pro football. Even after seeing all the concussions.
-
I think he likes being able to take care of his self more. You know that while walking and thinking for your self. Having control of your body. To 99% of people that is an important thing to be able to to.
-
He still wants to play professional football. He’s going to take care of himself regardless because it’s survival. Human nature. But if he had a CHOICE.... it would be professional football and u can’t take that “want” away from him.
-
I just can’t. Thank God my child is smarter then the average young man his age. A forward thinker. Have a great day young man. Hope you don’t just chase money.pic.twitter.com/KMk3kSyXnu

You’re acting as if you know for a fact your son doesn’t want to play football because of concussions. He does want to play in the NFL. Get over it

Here’s the doc we made 4 years ago—not as artistic, but probably more brutal and sad. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL0hKMB1-xkc-T3mmvkes9q1Y25otfMfTX … after meeting all the players who we profiled, i was no longer able to watch the nfl in any way shape or form.
-
It's heartbreaking to watch this, but very informative. Everyone needs to see this.
