the problem obviously is mentality: Finland is propably the "most armed" place in the world in weapons per capita, yet one of the safest.

it’s not just because Americans have guns, but I do think that’s a substantial reason why. the ‘fear’ of someone having a gun is how they try to justify it, whether the person is actually armed or not
