He's not God. But for most white evangelicals, he might as well be *their* God. Because most white evangelicals clearly prefer the political power to oppress far more than the words of Christ. Trump is the Chief Oppressor they've always wanted. He is their God.

Wonder if those evangelicals hold themselves to the same standard. Are they allowed to do things that would typically be frowned upon by Christians because they’re not God?
