I just spoke at @UCF on racism & privilege last week and echo your sentiments. Excellent student body, powerful dialogue, and wonderful social justice leadership.

Just finished speaking in Orlando at the University of Central Florida (@UCF).
3 quick thoughts...
1. The school is huge. I had no idea. 65,000 students!
2. The staff truly values deep diversity in every way.
3. The student leaders are brilliant.

My JD brother candidate @Chardo2018 has a strong team of UCF students organizing there. I visited them a few months ago - amazing campus full of conscientious and committed students.

Shaun, I am an Af-Am Florida resident & an avid reader of your work. UCF has a "few good ones," but UCF is known for being a racist, white-privilege promoting institution. I'm glad they welcomed you, but they have done nothing to counter their long, deplorable track record. FR FR

I would love to hear some proof of this racism. I live in Orlando and graduated from UCF and have heard no such thing. I'm not calling anyone a liar, but this is news to me.

That incident was from 2010 and is a "complaint" about UCF police. Hardly proves racism throughout the entire institution. Is there better "proof"?

I went there just a couple of years ago for a football game. My wife and I couldn't BELIEVE the place! Beautiful campus, it looks new and shiny-- and AMAZING students.
