Black unemployment was cut in half during President Obama’s administration and has gone down for 6 years straight. Somehow, Trump wants credit for what he inherited.pic.twitter.com/AknNyniuHG

Why don't you post the entire/actual graph starting from 2007. Technically you could say Obama doubled black unemployment... funny how you can take statistics and spin it your way. Wonder why your graph only starts in 2010...pic.twitter.com/kQOcJMtn4B

But wasn’t Obama president in 2009? Which would mean he inherited double unemployment from Bush?

Correct... and oh by the way, our economy was in ruins when he took office. So the fact it continued to rise before coming back down is not surprising.

He’s an expert at taking credit for things he inherited.

GOP gave Obama war and a recession. He fixes their mess then GOP turns around and tries to take his credit. Unbelievable.

He's a billionaire. He doesn't take a presidential salary. Don't you think he did pretty good with the 1 million he BORROWED??

Nope. Because: 1) Many people started with less than $1 and turned it into more than $1000. 2) It wasn’t a loan. 3) The idea he was only give $1MM is a fallacy. He “Started with” that. Then got more and more and more. 4) He failed so badly they couldn’t let him fail

@ShaunKing Unemployment rates & participation is far more complex a topic than the usual superficial media headlines : For example - Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) expects that there will be more than 3 million Blacks leaving the labor force. https://www.bls.gov/opub/mlr/2013/article/labor-force-projections-to-2022-the-labor-force-participation-rate-continues-to-fall-12.htm …

Black unemployment is still about double white unemployment. So while Obama made progress the overall situation still isn't great.https://www.theatlantic.com/business/archive/2018/01/trump-black-hispanic-unemployment/549932/ …

If a lower Black unemployment rate is to be expected, then why is it that no one predicted that it would happen under Trump? The experts said that Trump was going to have the exact opposite effect.
