Got paywalled on 5. Again, I think we all agree these numbers are bad, but they don’t suggest marijuana arrests go up for total PoC population in places where it’s legal.
They have, undoubtedly gone up for Black & Brown children/teens in Colorado. They have gone up for several years straight in DC. After New York decriminalized it, arrests went up nearly 10% 2 years ago, then down 1% last year.

But legalization does not apply to minors. No doubt that racial disparity in arrests is problem no matter age.

Ok. We need to be VERY clear on this. NY law HAS NOT changed in regards to MJ possession since 1977. NYC leadership cannot change the state law. Whoever believed DelBassio decriminized or changed anythin in this matter has an intense fascination with mythology.
