9. Over 50 people a day are still being arrested for simple marijuana possession in New York City alone even though the Mayor and others say simple possession is now legal. It is. For white people. African Americans & Latinos are arrested daily all over New York for it.
It's a global economy. I shared an Uber in Toronto with a man from U.K. who moved to Toronto to start a marijuana business and damn near talked us to death about it while black & brown folks are still losing there life over a blunt.

Gentrification of pot. Same as opioid crisis. When POC do it, it's criminal, degenerate. When it's white ppl it's a health issue. When POC have a small amt of pot, same. But now they are languishing in prison, lives ruined, families separated while white ppl are making profits.
