Yeah, it’s a law made to criminalize being black and poor. So, you know, there’s always that and nothing will ever fix that until it’s off the books for good everywhere.
Of course, it was literally the point of the marijuanna laws Nixon put in place. There is literally tape of him saying he wants to criminalize it to target the black communities across America. The laws have racism embedded into them

Many of those prosecuting marijuana users use themselves.
That's because when they are committing other crimes, cops find weed on them. White people are less likely to be caught with weed bc they're less likely to commit crimes in general
