I now have people submit questions through paper. I sort through them in real time. Solves everything.

Smart! Unfortunately seems difficult to do when the audience is seeing a movie for the first time.

You can totally do it! I’ve done it for new plays. Start with some cards/questions you wrote (you can even say they’ve from previous screenings) anticipating some common Qs or talk process while folks write their own cards out. Then have a pal collect new Qs a few times as you go
