Contrast this to photos of Obama - of ANY OTHER PRESIDENT - working at the same desk. Where are the papers? Where is the computer? Where is ANYTHING? What's scary is how little they care about trying to look authentic.

I would also like to point out that both Obama and Bush had photos either on the desk or on the table behind. That tells me things: they care about family, they probably inspired O and B, and they spent enough time at that desk to need and want personal items in their work space.

Also means they care about other people too...

I think he loves his kids and grand children, I just took it to mean he probably spends very little time in there, he could have another office & that was just symbolic in the Oval Office, but for a Pres who vacations a lot, how did his staff not see how bad a look it was

In his way he might but it's still very unusual NOT to have family pics in an office?

Ive seen plenty of offices w/ no family photos & I don’t think any less of Trump for it. What concerns me is his staff missed the fact people would use this photo to jump on 2 major criticisms, his work ethic & his lack of compassion, even the worst PR person would get it
