I was blown away by the show. It was gritty, raw, and real. I don't understand how DC can screw up their movies so badly when they do their TV series so well.

Yup it so weird, Before tv shows their animated stuff was the best in the world, then tv added fantastically to this, yet their movies.................ugh.

Given that Black Lightning has been around since the 70s, one of the the best exchanges I've seen in recent comics is: Black Lighting: "Do I look like I'm not serious?" Gov agent: "Not since you lost the 'fro." Black Lightning:"Nice." BL has always been amazing.
