I became well-acquainted with several Russians over the years. I found them to be friendly and kind. A lot like Americans. A lot like the people I know who are from Germany and Kenya and Venezuela and Canada.
Need I go on? Nigeria and Poland and China and Norway....
I visited Russia in August. Friendly, kind people. We both deserve better "leaders."
If people would just travel more, whether in books or real life, we would all know that governments are not representative of the people and culture of a country. Imagine if they were!

Most of those146 million people were loud and clear in their support for the annexation of Crimea. Just like how most of US citizens are usually madly in love with the idea of bombing foreign countries - see Vietnam, Iraq, Syria and many others... FYI...
Every country has merit. Every country has good people. Anyone who thinks people have no merit due to their country of origin is a racist.
Our problem with Russia is a problem with Putin. Russians suffer from Putin more than Americans do.
People that say dumb things and generally dumb. From what I’ve seen this past year + is that MANY Americans have never traveled abroad.
