Nope. Unless they go through the process to get it expunged (if they're eligible), the arrest is on public record forever. Even though the charges were dropped.

Are they going to be compensated for loss wages and found new jobs? This is outrageous! No-one should profit from marijuana unless, all non violent offenders are freed, records expunged, and cop's stop arresting, mainly POC for having marijuana on their person.

If you're arrested, even if all the charges are dropped (you literally did nothing wrong), the arrest is still a matter of public record! Forever! (Unless you can get it expunged.) I think that is royally fked up, esp if it affects your ability to get a job.
