On the left there is Mark Hazelwood.
He was the @PilotFlyingJ executive who called African Americans "greasy niggers" then proceeded to sing a white supremacist song with his sales team, who loved it, sang along, and laughed.
He also stole money from truckers.pic.twitter.com/Xipm0KFHyc
Right. Owner & CEO Jimmy Haslam wants us to believe that the President of his company openly called Black folk niggers in executive meetings, and sang racist songs, but it all took him by great surprise. I don't buy it at all.http://tennesseestar.com/2017/12/13/ceo-jimmy-haslam-tries-to-distance-himself-and-pilot-flying-j-from-recorded-vile-and-racist-epithets-by-former-company-president-mark-hazelwood/ …
How in the hell...well America is rooted in white supremacy.pic.twitter.com/jvMuM2mast
Deeply rooted man. This is clear evidence. It has layers.
Each layer needs to be peeled back & they are, it’s just taking 200+ years. Come on America!
400 years
They just lost me as a customer. None of my trucks will ever fuel at flying J again. Thanks for this share
This was 5 years ago and these people are no longer with the company to be fair.
Company culture doesn't change that quickly!!!
It sure doesn’t. And they made those changes only when they were caught on tape.
All of which shows how much these white men believe their own worth and value pales next to black men. They are on the top of a hill they know they don't have the right to own by worth. They can only maintain control with draconian measures and restrictions.
I was just about to say that smh
Shaun do you ever admit when you make mistakes or nah?
What mistake was made here??.
@arsenalgoooner2 wtf does that have to do with the story he's reporting NOW??.
I hate this story and it pisses me off there is a song like that, but the mistake was saying the president of pilot flying j when it was an ex-vice President. The original tweet makes it seem as if current president of the co is in this situation.
It was the former President, not a former Vice Presidentpic.twitter.com/zwbS5za08P
I can go back and read the article but I swear somewhere in there I thought the article said “ex-vice President” of the company. Regardless, it is still the “ex” meaning former. The tweet is misleading. That was my point.
