I have a really bad feeling about any celebrity running anymore. I think the perviously established popularity and charisma will overshadow actual policy.

I hope so. I hope after this last year people are ready to think hard about what they want for this country and not just who, and I hope they won't be fooled so easily by over simplified pleasing narratives. If she is the one to fight for that it would be awesome.

One of the things I'm sure of is that we need more people educated on social complexity and complexity systems. It's the key to understanding and fixing our systems. Our gov still uses traditional linear models if any discipline at all.

Really my biggest worries in the future are preservation of free speech and second amendment rights. Because people seem blind to the consequences of losing those things lately. That's not to mention the two tier justice system, mass surveillance, corporate fuel corruption etc.

Sad to see the promotion of another personality cult. Oprah told us Obama was the real deal and she was wrong as so many of us were. I adore Oprah and have no doubt she would make a great representative for the US, maybe for the UN, maybe as Secretary of State, NOT US President.
