This is an extremely bad take, Shaun. We don't need another billionaire reality star w/no governmental experience. We need to concentrate on the issues and nominate someone based on their policy proposals. We don't need a benevolent dictator to replace a malevolent one.

I agree. But it’s not so simple. The nominee has to be electable.
-
Meaning they need name recognition? That's basicqlly what that means right? So amplify people in the movement and let's put that spotlight on the people who need it, not the people who already have it.

Yeah, what she said.

Appreciate and respect you immensely my brother. Respectfully disagree on problems and fundraising at DNC. GOP always outraises us including in 2006 when we took back the house. More critical to focus on us having resources to win & new infrastructure.
-
I hear you. You know I respect you too. So glad you are there. My point is to say that current Democratic fundraising is low. I think it should be better. Also saying that Trump cannot be underestimated. That’s a costly error.

Exactly, but if Future Elections point this out,
@ninaturner would be Next In Line in terms of it, no doubt this is why@SenSanders is the Most Popular Senator and the most popular Candidate in the country Hands Down, but the Clinton Trolls try to ruin that.

Bernie would beat Trump. Problem is, DNC will again block every chance he has to win the primary. So best bet would be somebody like Warren, Oprah (she out-trumps Trump's celebrity) OR a wild card like Van Jones b/c he's incredibly charismatic and has a progressive background.
-
Oprah may be able to do it. much better than HRC as a candidate, but the idea that only megarich and famous can now win really disturbing
-
But that may be the case until citizens United is overturned so we must work within the system in order to get the chance to change it
-
yes, i think Bernie might have pulled it off if he hadn’t been blocked though - purely because his issues and appeal went beyond democrats
-
Yes, I have no illusions that the Democrats are half the problem today which is why to fight the Orange Menace, we really need the opposite in character but same in recognition that Donald had. Oprah really is the only person who would destroy Don

He's NOT formidable, especially considering that he won the E.C. by *next to nothing.* (Never mind how the Russians helped, either.) Please spare us this lazy narratives. They're not helping.
