Be serious the manipulation by the party had a lot to do with how momentum built along with where money was availible and to whom.

Hillary literally owned the DNC from like fall of 2015 guys. She still coukd have been and should have won against Trump, but the fight against Bernie (which again, she could have won fairly) was definitely not fair play. We'll never know.

Which one? Donald or Ivanka? ;-) Seriously, the people who can "beat Trump" for the next year have to be the people sweeping as many Republicans out of Congress as possible plus a few more for insurance.

There was a court ruling a week or so ago - a judge dismissed a suit against Trump for emoluments clause violations saying, "Congress is not a potted plant".

This Congress has behaved like a potted plant where Trump's corruption and bigotry are concerned. Trump is bringing money into the GOP coffers and they aren't going to rock the boat. He may be a jerk but he'll sign anything they pass.

So assuming Donald makes it to 2020 and decides to run again, there will be plenty of leaders in a Democratic Congress that can take him on. Without a Democratic Congress, there's nothing to rein him and Ivanka in.
