A bit dramatic, basketball is a non-contact sport they aren't risking their health anymore than a construction worker

If anything, constructions workers face way more dangers.

"Putting on the line" implies we owe them some debt - how about "doing to themselves" because the science is clear at this point

MTBI’s cause depression, pain, personality changes. Always awful, more so in college, HS athletes who recv no compensation tho schools get millions. Aggressive play, demanded for ratings, makes games more dangerous. Easy to solve if we stop endorsing barbaric gladiator mentality

I'm so sorry you're experiencing this. Unfair that so many profit from exposing young people to these injuries. New helmets are promising, preconditioning the neck may enhance that. I'm interested in how field-side acupuncture might help diffuse inflammation to brain, reduce fx

I should try that, sometimes I avoid certain routes at work because I know that I will run into people that know my name, but I won’t remember theirs. I’ve tried the memory book, word association, etc. I get very frustrated sometimes at my brain. I hate it.

Look man. I feel bad for the guy because he got a concussion. But that’s because he’s a man who got a concussion. But what these players put on the line? I didn’t ask Blake Griffin to go play basketball. The man is worth $30 million and he plays a game. Stop with that.
