A nice tofu scramble is great and agave is just as good as honey!

Almond production requires pollination by honey bees. Silly for vegans to eliminate honey and then chug almond milk. Same goes for blueberries. And fields fertilized with manure. There’s more nuance than most vegans will acknowledge.
-
No one is against bees pollinating lol but aside from that what is really silly is comparing two smaller issues that are hard to avoid with a major issue of mass murder/factory farming. It's not about purity, it's about doing the best we can.
-
In that case, there should be no reason for vegans to avoid honey, as it is really a byproduct of the pollination industry. One may also avoid the factory farming of animals without being a vegan.
-
It's not actually. Bees pollinate in the wild. They make honey for themselves, yet humans find a way to exploit every other living thing. You can't avoid factory farming, basic supply and demand. We have to stop demanding animals be killed. Thanks for playing.
-
The problem is that it is a fantasy to think we can produce the current quantity of almonds, blueberries too, without beekeeping. The math just doesn’t add up.
-
Well in that case you should realize that far more bees would be exploited if we keep consuming animals because the majority of crops grown are for livestock feed

-
But the majority of commercial bee pollination is for food consumed by humans, not livestock. My point here is that avoiding honey has little effect on commercial bee keeping because the main economy is pollination, and of almonds in particular.
-
But bees can pollinate without us stealing their honey and if you think being unable to avoid bee pollination is the same as choosing to support meat and dairy farms then you've got a twisted way of thinking
