I read there's about 3million ex fellons in the USA- are non of them allowed to vote? Over here (UK) its only whilst in jail that you're denied the vote (even that is contentious- human rights wise) 3m is big denial of "democracy"

here, it's state by state. in California, restoration of rights is automatic once no longer in prison or on parole. other states ban you for life. it's becoming a bigger issue here too.

I've never even heard a rational argument for why felons should be disenfranchised in the first place. Do supporters of this barbaric practice really pretend to believe that felons will band together and vote to legalize murder, or something?
