36-28 Bears last 4 yrs w/Lovie Smith 27-53 in 5 years since w/ John Fox & Marc Trestman Jim Caldwell criticism sounds a lot like Lovie’s then after he went 10-6. If players are same, Lions will also pay for their double-standard.http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/lovie-smith-jeff-fisher-line-credit-article-1.2920092 …

0 playoff wins in 4 yrs and a losing record against teams with winning records..... Caldwell blows
-
A lot people in Detroit wanted Caldwell fired. Check his record vs winning teams. Consistently made mistakes that cost the Lions the opportunities to win games. Poor clock management. I agree that black coaches don't get a fair shake but Caldwell isn't a good coach.

Still employed coaches with their records this year and overall records with team: Marvin Lewis 7-9 (97-94) Hue Jackson 0-16 (1-32) Todd Bowles 5-11 (20-28) Vance Joseph 5-11 Let’s just continue to try and divide the sports world.

As a Detroit Lions fan this is a bad picture to headline this article. It’s more then just having a winning record. The team was mediocre under him. Fans want championships.
-
I was thinking same thing. Caldwell led Lions to back to back 9-7 record, which is mediocre at best. His 1st yr he went 11-5, which is good but not excellent. And I believe they were one and done in playoffs. Team was regressing vs improving. Stafford is not getting any younger!
-
Agree 100%. We just made Stafford the highest paid player in the NFL and he’s in his prime. It’s time to chase a championship. Nothing less.

the Bears fired Lovie Smith after a 10-6 season, yet John Fox was allowed to put up double-digit loss seasons for THREE YEARS

There’s just such a small sample size (for coaches of any race) I don’t feel like we can confidently draw these conclusions. Especially in the wake of Marvin Lewis being extended after mediocre seasons and hue Jackson being brought back after 0-16
