Ah, Shaun, weren't you the one spreading a nasty rumor contrary to this?pic.twitter.com/reEmzgvCtk
-
Maybe this "nasty rumor" propelled him to do this.
-
Sorry, no. I knew someone would try this tactic. Unfortunately, Shaun's lie was refuted immediately by those on Doug Jones' staff. SK pretends to have great contacts and insight. Really, he is a fearmongerer preying on cultlike followers.
-
He acted as if he had an inside track to Jones' selection. He did not. I have ZERO respect for him.
-
Not a rumor. I spoke to many about very specific preferences, people, candidates, etc. We felt this type of pressure was very necessary. Not a single Democrat had a Black chief of staff before today. I stand by everything.
-
You spoke to many? Many from where? Did you speak to anyone actually on or in a decision-making position on the transition team?
-
Still waiting for the name of your inside source debunking it, you probably forgot about the previous thread, but just reminding you since you said you'd give a name of your inside source, Molly :) Don't worry, forgetting is normal, but I got your back!pic.twitter.com/PY85WotoGc

Some people aren't on social media 24/7. It might take days for the source to check her Facebook mentions. When I hear from her, I'll pass it along. :-)

He needs to also put some Black women in positions as well. They were critical to his success. The whole of the Democratic party does as well.

Agreed-- but AS ALWAYS, Black Women get the short end of the stick when it comes to political decision-making, esp when we help to make political change. We need to be at the table top, not just a bunch of MEN deciding Black futures.
-
Who would be the black woman to be named for this position or a similar one?
-
I'm sure that there are several black women in Alabama that are qualified. I'm in Tennessee and can tell there are several here in Memphis. It wouldn't too hard to fill any position in his or anyone's staff.
-
That’s great to hear. I’m not totally connected to Alabama politics, but this appointment seems like a step in the right direction. We will remain optimistic that there are more appointments like this.

Not to be picky but black women got him there. Would love to have seen this spot go to a black woman. This is not the season for men in 2018. Black or white
-
Naw black people got him there
