I’d love to know how this cold case was solved.

The truth always comes out eventually. Others knew what happened to this man. Someone finally talked. Just like Emmitt Tills lying accuser before she died. They always knew the men who killed 14yo Emmitt, they just didn’t try hard to prosecute these crimes. It was the norm

The case was re-opened and ppl started to come forward with information (they were suspects to begin with) but they had family members in police dept. who tampered with the case, until eventually 5 of them were arrested...was on C.I

Another frickin insecure unhappy woman needing attention from her man. She had no remorse for what she did to an innocent child. She only came clean for a paycheck. She was a repulsive being.

The constant bombardment of horrible, inhuman, ways black men and women are systematically killed for being black. It hurts to read each time. Every story. I have to believe my children will have a better future when all humans understand

I saw this on AP feed, they spoke really well of the living family and most likely deliberately declined to mention the killers out of respect but I was intrigued to find how these two animals were finally brought to justice. Too long for closure. Such a strong family.

This is America in 2017/18 nothing has changed since Jim Crow of 1965. America is founded on racism and always will be.

We need to do much better to stop it. Yes, there will always be racists. However, we need to call them out, arrest/convict them. On our institutions, we need to sanction (inc. firing) those who discriminate, incite hate, or remain silent when others do.
