Almost every mainstream Democrat, including ones Bernie had known for decades, bailed. It stung.

Erica Garner was so hopeful and happy during Bernie's campaign last year (I guess we all were).

It matters to supporters as well. The unfairness of it all was not lost on me as a woman of color who supports Bernie. My support went ignored by MSM, DNC/HRC meddling in order to spin the disparaging Berniebros and millennial basement dwelling narrative.

I don’t remember him unveiling any policy that targets corruption in law enforcement or holding massive rallies against corruption in law enforcement. I don’t remember him going hard for that like he did for single payer. I remember him voting for racist John Kelly.

It was unbelievable--Sherrod Brown (who worked so closely w/ Bernie)? Jessie Jackson (who Bernie endorsed 3 decades ago)? NOBODY mainstream had the guts to put integrity 1st. It DID sting. Erica's support was very meaningful & I understand why Bernie was touched.
