It's bad for the opioid manufacturers, it's bad for the alcohol manufacturers, it's bad for the illegal drug cartels, and it's bad for the prison-industrial complex, but legalized cannabis is good for virtually everyone else.

I should add that legalized cannabis is bad for the politicians that take bribes from the corrupt forces that make $billions from prohibition.

Every California non violent marijuana offender should be released from custody tomorrow and have the records expunged to relieve the tax payers of the burden.

I am NOT a drug addict. I do NOT use marijuana. Most people don't! Yet the State of CA is now forcing me to breathe marijuana smoke
WallSt is enabling CA drug addicts, promoting & creating a state of extreme addiction, for huge WallSt profits

It should be illegal -
That's absurd. I'm sure CA laws will be similar to our laws here in Oregon. You can't smoke pot in public places. No one will be forcing you to breath it.
-
Drug addicts pay no attention to laws. They don't smoke marijuana in their home bc they don't want it to stink of pot. Instead they smoke dope outside their home, sending the fumes into their neighbors homes
They smoke it driving their car
& walking on the streets

-
Can’t tell if you’re being serious or not
-
Totally serious. My state has been recreationally legal for a couple of years and no one has been forced to breath pot smoke.

Pair it with retroactive expungement of records of drug offenses and I'm the first one on line to sign the petition. But so far, legal-ish pot has just meant white people getting rich off of stuff that puts Black people in jail.

As a person who grew up in the 60s (and have reached age 60 without ever doing any drugs), I fully support the legalization of marijuana and several other drugs. Treat/regulate them like tobacco/alcohol. Kill the black markets, empty the prisons...
