Here is my question. What could Obama have done, I mean seriously done, to help this family?
Painful truth. So many families affected by police violence have told me this exact same thing. Many said they were specifically told by Obama, Lynch, or Holder that they’d get justice or at least make sure the case didn’t carry over to Trump. I'm not aware of any statements from Obama about Garner personally, but about police brutality as a whole. I'm aware of him trying to bring dialogue between police and communities who suffer from police violence. I'm unaware of the Justice department doing much at all.

It's pretty ridiculous and childish to think that the Obama administration would address every issue of police violence...just like it's silly tonepect him to pardon every unfair sentence, even though he already broke records in that area.
