Oh my God. Police just shot & killed a 6 year old boy. They claimed the woman they were shooting at had a gun, but it appears she was unarmed too. No gun was found on the scene. She's also dead. She didn't even know the boy who was killed.http://www.mysanantonio.com/news/local/crime/article/2-dead-after-BCSO-deputy-involved-shooting-manhunt-12448095.php …

Can you imagine that story as justification in any other circumstance? In fact, I remember that *not* being a defense of self-defense in law school. The cop was not in clear and present danger.

The general rule for everyone else is not the rule for cops. They have what some CDA call the Reasonably Scared Cop Rule. And since cops are trained to be in constant fear for their lives, they’re almost always found to be reasonably scared.

You don't know the first thing about policing, grandpa. OR what they're trained to do.

Well. I guess I done been told.

You're a nice lady. I like you.

Yes, this was wrong. This officer should have been aware of their back stop. Bullets go through people, they go through houses. You're responsible for every bullet. That I'm not disagreeing with.
