This happened in #Charlottesville, where many anti-racist activists were arrested at KKK rally. Police tear gassed us on false pretext that we'd pepper sprayed law enforcement. (Was rogue, unauthorized order, but officials circled the wagons.) Charges later dismissed or reduced.

I know this much. If she were my daughter, she'd carry a serious ass-whipping from ME for doing all that crap.

So maybe we need to focus on the District Attorney's downplaying their crimes.

I live in W. Hartford, Ct. where this happened. The chief of the W.H.P.D. quietly announced his resignation last month, absolving himself from this case. No accountability for this heinous crime.

I read that the judge wanted a stronger sentence. So the judge is charging her for something else.
