Serious question, if someone like Cenk that did sexist troll things in the past and categorically admits and apologizes for it now but isn't welcome with Justice Dems, what of all the other people that have said ugly things in the past but changed now? Will they ever be welcome?

Consequently, this will be one of those things I'll need a response on. I've said things in the past that I'm not proud of and don't represent me anymore. So if I don't have a home with
@justicedems just let me know and I'll stop giving you money and find somewhere I'm welcome. -
I've yet to have heard anything. I understand it is a holiday weekend so I'll give you until Tuesday to respond if you want my continued support. To be clear, this isn't about
@cenkuygur, this is about whether anyone that has said things in the past they regret now is welcome. - 1 more reply

Thank you, Shaun! We appreciate the solidarity.

I have mixed feelings. I understand where you are coming from, but at the same time, it is clear that Cenk & David are not the same ppl they were back then. Yes, what was said was disgusting, but ppl change; their values change over time. I know mine have. I can't pass judgement.
-
Agreed - I think it's extremely hypocritical to call yourself progressive while rejecting the notion that people can progress in their own views/values. Cenk didn't abuse anyone—he wrote some extremely distasteful things 20 years ago, and he's clearly not the same person anymore.
-
I think, this idea of lumping everything together and not able to distinguish between immature beliefs vs outrageous actions is really ridiculous. These extreme steps of punishing someone’s few irrational beliefs in the past wouldn’t help the cause.People evolve over the time.
-
Exactly, what I'm trying to say! Everyone, not just in this situation, but so many others, are over-reacting to the point of insanity. Let's use some "common sense."

30 years ago I was a Republican, I believed that the rebel flag was a symbol of southern pride and nothing else, I can point to things I personally wrote that today I would completely disagree with. I've changed A LOT since I've grown older. This is wrong.

Thank you, Karen for your life growth. You could have chosen to stay in what was your comfort bubble at the time. You chose to burst that bubble and be free.

Awwww thanks Darrell Lloyd! That was really sweet!! Hope you and yours have a very happy holiday season and the best and brightest of the new year! I hope we ALL do! Anything is an improvement over 2017! :-)

I thought he hired you because you two were ideologically aligned. I was introduced to your work through him. Seeing this tweet hurts.

I fully anticipate Shaun to do the right thing and resign immediately from TYT. It would call into question his credibility if he worked for such a barbaric CEO. I'm expecting this page to be gone by the end of the day: https://tytnetwork.com/about/host-bios/shaun-king/ …
