If it’s true that she had warrants, and refused to show her ID, yes, did break laws. You’re required to produce ID when asked. They should never have done this to her, but let’s not ignore what brought it on. That’s not fair to all of the victims who did nothing wrong.

She probably will. And her lawsuit will cost the people of the city money that they could have saved if they had only trained their cops better from the get-go. Police abuse isn’t just immoral, it’s expensive to everyone involved
