What happened to her boyfriend who was threatening her?
-
i dont really know, but in another video his hands is up against the wall with another officer attending to him

It's such an important part of the story; I'm sorry to see it get lost. This woman called the police to help protect her and her child from potential intimate partner violence, & the cops assaulted her. I hope she & her child are safe.

The woman should’ve had a gun, then she’d be covered by all the gun rights of the 2nd amendment..uh, right? No questions asked by the police? Right? Oh,wait a minute-imagine her telling the cops she has a gun in her bag-wow-she wouldn’t have been tasered-it’d be CALL THE CORONER!
-
Serious issue i know but i actually read CALL THE CORONER in your ring voice in my head.

Found this a little funny I have to say

If I were black I would not call the police. Probably safer faced against someone wishing to do you harm than a policeman that is supposed to protect you.

As a privileged white man in Australia, entirely removed from what is going on, I feel it deeply, as deeply as is possible. I am constantly angered and frustrated at the continued injustices, where officers "doing their job", supposedly "fear for their life", murder in cold blood
-
Love your post. I too am a privileged white persoan and I am acutely aware of how I'm treated and what opportunities I have because of it. I want the same for everyone. Neighbourhood policing is over. Local cops knew the people, where to find the troublemakers and descalate sht

Remember now, this is the same police dept. that did the same thing to Jacqueline Craig & her daughters a year ago. The Craigs called for help & THEY go to jail. Something is rotten in Fort Worth.

When THEIR system is founded upon exploitation, slavery & murder, why would we expect the current powers that be to behave any different??
