This is another damning indictment of how the Democrat Party continues to betray its base, when it comes to leadership.

Don’t be embarrassed, be enlightened. Neither party truly cares about the people...only the votes. We have GOT TO break from this broken two party, corporate backed ruling system that we allowed to take over our country. Most of these ruling corps. are racist af btw.
And yet they're pushing through this tax bill which is far more injurious than inequality in staffing. Both bad, but shouldn't magnitude matter?

Hiring more African Americans as staffers but maintaining little to no visibility in their actual communities translates into nothing of real value for that community.
It gives them cover. Jesse Helms used to be big on this. Always hired black spokesmen.
Why is this embarrassing? The only party that focuses on immutable characteristics over qualifications is the Democratic Party. Republicans recognize a person's merits over race and employ qualified candidates regardless of skin color.
