This is subtle racism. NOBODY IN AMERICA is more educated than Black women. NOBODY IN AMERICA is more prepared, more qualified, has more experience than professional Black women. This isn't opinion. Studies show this. Black women don't need qualification. They need open doorshttps://twitter.com/MichelleFix/status/941709556639465473 …

Suddenly "qualification" matters to these people. A president, a cabinet, and scores of judges who are wildly unqualified... but now that we're pointing out lack of diversity they scramble for "but qualifications!"

May I ask why you feel white people cannot represent the interest of black people? I feel as long as the goals are the same the color of the people should not matter.

Because, more often than not, white people use black or other POC votes to get offices then fall through with their promises or neglect their POC supporters.

“Qualification” is whatever road the euro-centric ideals have paved. The qualifications they speak of have been unobtainable by POC. Now they use it to justify white supremacy

This is the right wing answer to hugely disproportionate opportunity for minorities and POC. It doesn't matter who said it or how nicely they said it. White people cannot acknowledge privilege. They take it so for granted they forget that it is there.

There is systemic racism all over the country. It has been going on for 400 years. Add Trump!!! He poured gasoline on the situation and lit the match! Then: Jeff Sessions taking away the civil rights of POC every day. Do not @ me.

When ppl talk abt affirmative action it's always white ppl (who dominate most fields btw) who get their panties in a bunch, talk about fairness& merit. 1) why assume POC lack merit? 2) why do white ppl assume theyre 1st in line& someone is cutting?
