Not surprising in the least. Kids don’t sign up for the military or police to protect, they sign up to fire a gun. They’re not nearly as noble as they love to claim. They’re there to get paid and to have power over people. It’s why there is no backlash from nonexistent good cops.

The modus operandi for law enforcement in America harken back to the slave era. The mindset is learned, & often elicits behavior/reactions on a subconscious level. Carte Blanche for police killings has been normalized. Indeed, being Black in US means a war zone.
