Why is @Uber even still in business?

Funny how my coworker tells me just yesterday that he got a Uber to take him to Newark, driver pulls up, asks “Where to?”...”Nope, not going to Newark.” He orders another driver. 10 mins later the same Driver pulls up again and says “Still not going to Newark.” Leaves.

Not uncommon. We're charged £5 twice when our Uber drivers cancelled our trip. Waited for a quarter an hour too. It's a scam.

Unfortunately this happened, but can they really do anything? The infrastructure of the company is so people work for them selves. But they could at least give her 5 bucks back.
