It’s football. It’s always had high speed collisions.

But now that we know those "high speed collisions" have future life-altering brain consequences, you have to think. Is it really worth it?

You must have started watching football yesterday. If they players think it’s worth it, I’ll continue to watch. There’s no sport that compares to how entertaining and rewarding football is.

but honestly, some football players don’t have much of an alternative. some couldn’t afford the same education, so it’s kind of shitty that we offer an education/profitable future IF you risk your life/health for our entertainment

There's always two sides to an issue. What you say is true, but I think it's sad that "entertainment" has to have such a dark side

Driving down the highway to work can result in severe injury and death, and it does. Driving and playing football have similar risks.

Im gonna respond and please no rude comments. Im a football mom, my son plays high school he has been playing since he was 7. My son plays corner and was going after the WR. He took a blind side hit and my heart sunk. Its hard to watch.

But it's his passion, he loves the game and wants to play college . I am very concerned. I know they are trying to make the game safer so hopefully changes can be made but in reality its the nature of the game
