So true and we need to encourage improve on coach screening to make sure basic fundamentals rules regulations requirements confidence safety is all being implemented per all student athletes

After two concussions in college soccer and having to retire early from the game I love-- THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. I would rather everyone face the heartbreak of leaving their sport rather than losing cognitive function.

This will never change unless they go back to leather helmets or no helmets so that players don’t lead with their helmets, knowing that they can dish out concussions without receiving one in the process

Imagine the number of CTE and PCS sufferers out there that never even got a sniff of professional sports. Amateur sporting participation far outnumbers professionals.

I’m a 38yr old father, I never made it past a cup of coffee in junior hockey, I deal with the effects of PCS on a daily basis. It’s a farther reaching health issue than many people realize.
