That was dirty as hell. He's a huge guy! Did he get suspended? He should be.

He'll probably get a suspension from the league tomorrow, as he should. Possibly/probably was the cause of the concussion. No one ever said Gronk was the rocket scientist on the team, but this wasn't very bright.

He knew it was a dirty hit, no definitely not a rocket scientist but he knew it was wrong. I'm sure Brady will cry and say, no fair! Lol

Well so far he at least owned up to it and apologized rather than saying he tripped. But like a loyal Patriots fan I have to admit being appalled by the hit but a little amused by some of the response of the extreme pro/con.

Even wrestlers ease up on shit like that. WWE is sometimes more conscious about the danger from concussions than the NFL.

Much worse than Crabtree & Talib last week. White was totally defenseless, this was after the play ended and he was out of bounds. Suspended multiple games easily. Anything less is unacceptable.

Agreed. Add a personal apology and a fine on top of that suspension. Longer suspensions or removal from the league if any player pulls this kind of shit twice.

That is one of the most disgusting fouls I've seen, and I used to watch rugby union and rugby league matches. I've seen plenty of bad tackles; that this was intentional seems clear. Should be banned for the rest of the season, whatever there is left of it.

As someone who played a lot of union growing up, there’s an awful lot of cheap shots taken in scrums, rucks, and mauls that gets missed. Far less with cameras everywhere but it still happens. This ‘tackle’ is horrendously cheap by any standard.

As one who has experience with the dark arts of the front row, I completely agree with you. But this was something different. I have never seen anyone do something like this on the rugby pitch.
