Republicans? Given their actions, I think the correct term is 'Prostitutes.'

Both parties give it up for the right price. What makes the GOP worse is their insistence that they are some sort of moral authority.
-
Dems would NEVER have passed anything like the
#GOPTaxScam. Please notice this. No one says Dems are without their issues, but they are LIGHT YEARS better than@GOP. -
I’m just ready for some representation that pushes for actual utility and progress for the majority.

The way DC works: The GOP get to create all of the rules, and rule number one is that only Democrats have to obey the rules. This is consistent regardless of which party has a majority.

This is a false meme. BUT, given he has said things that imply this, & he behaves depending upon this logic, it’s true enough!

This represents the end of a government for and by the people. ... Now, we can surely protest, but it's been proven that it falls on deaf
@GOP ears. ... What to do, when your government is more concerned with the welfare of corporations and give lip service to citizens welfare? -
Protest in the way of VOTING. Stay strong in the fight to get EVERYone to the polls. Don't give up. Chaos happens before change. Time to unleash the chaos on some politicians!
-
I've voted, since 1984, I've protested.Made phone calls. I'm not "giving up".
-
Thank you for fighting the fight.

-
Thank You! We are all in this together!
-
Or we could protest the way they do in all the other democratic countries- march during a weekday, strike. Permit marches on Saturday are completely irrelevant. Not buying anything for a day in the other hand, makes a difference.
-
This.
Protest is easy to ignore, esp when just small numbers.
Spontaneous protest in the millions would command more attention.
Our real power lies in noncompliance. Shutting down commerce w/ strike&protest. Boycotting corp shopping @ xmas wld be more effective than protest.$

I think this is their last gasp. But they can still do more damage before losing in 2018.pic.twitter.com/6KeXyEYXR4

because we let them. every vote cast for a Republican )or not cast at all) is tacit approval of this modus operandi. We. Did. This. WE. American voters and American abstainers who were too disinterested and apathetic to be bothered.

Did you vote for every midterm and state election?
-
Because the facts are that most of the 67M of which you speak did not and have not for decades. It is state and local elections that create the senate and House. Power is a pyramid. The presendent is a figurehead.

I definitely did not! I moved from state to state and had no idea who the locals were and didn’t know I could just do a straight ticket. Then I left the country for years and came back and did straight tickets from 2010 on. So I’m guilty of negligence for sure.

That, and also those of us who were Dems, went to College, got jobs in the cities, etc were most definitely guilty of forgetting about every one who didn’t do that. The Dems voted for all the right things but didn’t follow through. See Clinton years for ex.
