Thank you for this. Now I challenge you to ask every woman you know (mother, sister, aunt, friend, Co-Worker, neighbor) WHEN was the first time they were harassed/assauted/raped. Because it’s not a matter of ‘If’ but how long it’s been going on...

It’s been allowed. Society’s attitude, oh it’s just boys being boys. This goes for bullying, sexual assault...power moves. It’s way past time this train of thought goes away. NO MORE. Women/girls are not playthings, we are not here for male amusement!

Why it's been like that since the beginning.

Any woman could have told you that. I'm almost 60 and I've been waiting for this since the 70's.

Actually that's the wrong way to approach it.... Masculinity teaches men to use their power to abuse/exploit people, especially women. These aren't just 'horrible men' that happen to be in power--this is just what masculinity + power looks like.

Yup. Sadly, we already knew, glad someone else does now.

It's everywhere & NOT industry specific! Racial inequality exists even in this issue! Those same men own guns to protect their women yet go to work & harass/harm others! The very same women who cross the street, grab mace & their purse when they see men like you! #boyswillbeboys
